Rishi is the Academic Lead of the SeaSHeL study. He is an ENT Surgical Doctor in London, currently carrying out a part-time Ph.D. on the implementation of novel hearing therapeutics, supported by the NIHR BRC, ARC and the Royal College of Surgeons. He holds an MSc in Health Policy, and as NICE Specialist advisor, contributed to NICE’s guidelines on hearing loss.

Rishi is a committee member of the Lancet Commission on Hearing loss, and an expert member on the WHO World Hearing Forum. As ENT Associate Lead for the Royal College of Surgeons, NIHR CRN Trainee Lead for ENT, and Committee Member of UK ENT Trainee research collaboratives, Rishi works to promote UK ENT research capacity.
